Paul F. McDevitt

Founder

(1942 - 2016)

Paul believed that, since we go through life only once, we should do all we can to make it a pleasant trip for ourselves and others.  In advancing this philosophy he stepped beyond the services offered by Modern Assistance Programs, Inc.  and engaged with a troubled world.

For more than four decades he worked in soup kitchens, visited the imprisoned, worked for criminal justice reform, supported immigration projects, raised money for and contributed money to, food banks, substance abuse recovery homes, inner city youth projects, education enrichment programs and homeless shelters.

Paul chaired numerous non-profit boards, and received many awards. He considered himself fortunate to have lived the life that he had.
