Nakisha has worked in mental health and substance abuse treatment for over 10 years. She holds a Masters of Social Work from Simmons University, a Masters of Criminal Justice with a concentration in Behavior Analysis from Saint Joseph University and a Bachelors of Science in both Psychology and Criminal Justice.

Nakisha currently focuses on Mental Illness and Co-Occurring Disorders among adults and adolescents. She also runs a weekly Women’s Anger Management Program. Nakisha previously worked through a contract with the Department of Mental Health Community Based Support Team of Boston, MA providing rehabilitative skills, individual counseling, and case management to individuals diagnosed with Major Mental Illnesses and Substance Use Disorder. Nakisha brings her distinctive knowledge of the Criminal Justice system along with behavioral interventions for children and adolescents.

Nakisha’s specialties include multicultural issues, racial trauma, life transitions, depression, anxiety, and women’s issues.
