Carol is a clinician at Modern Assistance and provides both individual and group counseling. She specializes in substance use disorders, community re-entry, family recovery & co-dependency. She was formerly the Director of the Homeless Services Bureau of the Boston Public Health Commission. Carol has worked in the Human Services field since 1983.
Carol holds a bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Kent State University and is a Master Level Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor and is a candidate for the International Employee Assistance Professional Certification. She previously served on the Board of Edwina Martin Recovery Home, The Friends of Boston’s Homeless, The Mayor’s Homeless Planning Board, and the Boston Public Health Commission Leadership Team.
